Travelodge is looking to open hotels in Hampshire, targeting Winchester, Portsmouth, Southsea, Gosport, Fareham and Hedge-End.
It has just opened a 76-bedroom hotel in Andover, its 545th hotel, next to Andover Business Park.
Bryn Taylor, Travelodge regional director, said: “Hampshire is a key growth area for Travelodge. Following our £3m investment in upgrading the customer experience and raising quality levels across our 17 other Hampshire hotels, we have seen a double-digit increase in sales.”
