Cardiff approves 1,500 Persimmon homes

Persimmon-Creigiau

Persimmon Homes has received outline planning permission for a 1,500-home development near Cardiff from Cardiff City Council.

The Creigiau site, just off junction 33 of the M4, will also include a high street, school, 175,000 sq ft of business space and a 1,000-space park and ride scheme called the “Transferium”.

The development will include a mix of tenures, including houses, flats and sheltered accommodation for the elderly. The site is allocated in the local development plan for a mixed-use scheme with up to 2,000 homes.

Barton Wilmore designed the masterplan for the scheme.
