Airbnb has acquired Canada’s Luxury Retreats in a cash and stock deal believed to be worth some $300m.
Accor and Expedia had also put in offers for the company, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
Luxury Retreats provides premium vacation-home rentals and concierge services, and has more than 4,000 properties worldwide.
