Tesco Bank is vacating its building at 22 Haymarket Yards following a decision to consolidate its Edinburgh operations at its South Gyle headquarters, and tenants are being sought.
The asset, owned by Aviva, has been home to 700 employees of the bank since 2009 and will release some much-needed supply into the market.
The grade-A office building offers 47,921 sq ft four floors and will be available to rent in the region of £25 per sq ft.
Benny Higgins, chief executive of Tesco Bank, said: “This building has been Tesco Bank’s headquarters for a number of years. Its city centre location, exceptional transport links, and highly efficient working environment have been perfect for attracting the best people and growing our business.”
Cushman & Wakefield and JLL have been appointed to lease the property.
