Three areas in Central Manchester ranked Gold by Wiredscore, one ranked Gold in Greater Manchester. City has a tram network and two mainline stations connecting it with London and the rest of the country. Manchester airport and Manchester city centre are on the phase 2 route of HS2, which will reduce the journey time to and from London from 127 minutes to 67 minutes. Manchester airport handles 22m passengers annually and is the largest UK airport outside London.
