Persimmon reported a 23% rise in pretax profit last year, to £774.8m, while revenue was up 8% at £3.14bn.
The number of home completions totalled 15,171, a rise of 599, while the average selling price increased by 3.8%.
Sales via the government’s help-to-buy scheme accounted for 46% of total sales.
