More London sellers cutting asking prices

London homeowners looking to sell are increasingly having to cut asking prices, as affordability issues and political uncertainty depress demand.

The price-cutting that took place in central London following the referendum is now extending to the outer boroughs, Lucian Cook, residential research director at Savills, said.

Figures from Zoopla show the percentage of those reducing asking prices in January rose in 31 of London’s 33 boroughs compared with the month after the referendum.
