Urban Exposure funds Brum scheme

Urban Exposure is to provide a senior debt facility for the development of 170 flats at ESRG’s Development at St Anne’s Court in Birmingham. The finished scheme in Digbeth, near the city centre, will have a GDV of more than £30m. The non-bank lender said the deal supported its regional lending strategy to access residential-led schemes in cities with strong economic growth and housing demand. Gemma Price, director of credit at Urban Exposure, said: “Birmingham city centre is experiencing substantial inward investment in infrastructure as well as commercial growth. “This has driven an increase in residential and commercial values, with property demand forecast to remain strong over the medium term.
