Harworth Group has sold its eighth parcel of residential development land at its Waverley scheme in Yorkshire to Avant Homes.
The site is Yorkshire’s largest brownfield redevelopment, with 3,890 homes alongside the Advanced Manufacturing Park, home to occupiers including the University of Sheffield, Rolls-Royce and Boeing.
Avant Homes will build 61 homes. It is the fourth housebuilder to take a plot, following Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Harron Homes. More than 600 homes have been built at the development over the past four years.
Harworth will also reach practical completion on a number of directly developed units totalling 52,000 sq ft at the end of March at the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
