CBRE has appointed proptech expert Alex Bailes as head of product engineering.
Bailes was formerly chief digital officer at Countrywide, before leaving in 2015 to join Connells Group as head of digital. In his new role at CBRE he will be responsible for product delivery across the UK, as well as software engineering across EMEA.
Andy Tennant, executive director for EMEA digital and technology at CBRE, said: “Alex brings both technology and property expertise to further enhance our recently launched Vantage technology platform, and to further drive CBRE’s ability to be at the forefront of innovation, identifying and deploying technologies that provide exceptional client outcomes.”
