Deutsche Bank is in talks with Land Securities to take a 25-year lease on office space in a building under construction in the City of London’s financial district.
The bank plans to relocate its headquarters to the building, at 21 Moorgate, from 2023. Land Securities said Deutsche Bank’s proposal would mean alterations to the building’s design, and talks could take several months
The move underlines Deutsche Bank’s commitment to the City of London, its UK chief executive, Garth Ritchie, told staff in a memo.
