Allsop’s second commercial sale of the year raised more than £87m, with a success rate of 84% from 156 lots.
Of 130 lots that were sold, 103 went under the hammer in the room and 23 were sold prior.
The George shopping centre in Grantham, Lincolnshire, with an annual rental yield of £367,000, was bought for £2.7m off a guide of £2.7m plus. The Grade II listed building dates back to the 1600s.
A high street building in Wood Green, N22, with planning approval for nine flats on upper floors was purchased for £2.4m. It also boasts two ground floor shops and a maisonette.
The sale was held at Claridge’s hotel, W1, on 27 March.
