Challenger bank expands in Manchester

Challenger bank Aldermore has agreed a deal to double the size of its occupation at Impax Asset Management’s 40 Spring Gardens in Manchester.

Aldermore has signed to take an additional 12,000 sq ft at the 100,000 sq ft office building, where tenants also include Aon and Lloyds Bank.

Ian Rolls, head of group services at Aldermore said: “Since moving into 40 Spring Gardens during 2016, our local business has gone from strength to strength and the efficiency of the large floor plates and the quality of the building has really assisted the productivity and well-being of our team here in Manchester.

“We have been impressed with the sustainable management in place at the building and working with our proactive landlords, we are delighted to have doubled the size of our space, which will enable us to further grow our Manchester presence.”

OBI Property acted for Impax Asset Management; Aldermore Bank was unrepresented.
