Law firm Maples Teesdale has appointed Chris Wilkinson as managing partner with effect from 1 April.
Former managing partner Mark Bryan, who has been at Maples Teesdale since 1996 and has held the top job since 2004, will remain at the firm.
Wilkinson has been a partner at Maples Teesdale in the commercial property team since 2001.
He said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been chosen by my fellow partners to serve as managing partner of Maples Teesdale at what is a very exciting time in the development of the firm. The current economic environment continues to present our clients with opportunities and challenges on which Maples Teesdale is ideally placed to advise.”
