Benson Elliot and Stanhope have appointed CBRE to market its £500m Station Hill mixed-use development.
The joint venture partners are looking to sell the opportunity for £70m.
The Allies & Morrison-designed plans have been approved for 930,000 sq ft of offices, 150,000 sq ft of retail and 300 homes at the 3.5-acre site opposite Reading Station.
The jv will also consider bringing in a funding partner to take the development forward.
Benson Elliot and Stanhope were granted planning permission for the scheme in 2013.
Station Hill incorporates the area outside of Reading Station, Garrard Street car park and the site of the old Friar’s Walk shopping centre. The plans include a complete remodelling and refurbishment of the existing NCP car park, the demolishing of Friars Walk and the Western Tower and its connected buildings.
