A consortium led by Cain Hoy and Galliard is thought to have acquired a former breakfast cereal factory and surrounding land in Southall, west London, for £50m.
The factory was acquired from Finland’s Raisio, while the land was bought from Chancerygate.
The site will be used to build 1,200 new homes, targeted at first- and second-time buyers.
