HPPUT expands investment portfolio by £67.7m

HPPUT has bought six UK investment properties for £67.7m.

The acquisitions comprise office buildings in the Thames Valley, two hotels, an out-of-town retail unit and a 37,000 sq ft shed in the Midlands.

The sites include a 20,460 sq ft DFS in Maidstone, Kent, bought for £12m;, a Travelodge in Edmonton bought from a private client of ADS for £6m; and a 31,000 sq ft office and industrial site let to Honda Motor Europe in Bracknell bought for £4.3m.

Helix Property Advisors represented HPPUT.

Robin Fell, chief executive officer at Helix, said: “These acquisitions are part of the planned expansion of our client’s property portfolio and are in line with our investment strategy to acquire and secure long-term income in diverse sectors across the UK.”

HPPUT also sold the freehold investment of its the Culpepper public house in Commercial Street, E1, for £2.6m through ADS.
