Bristol City Council has sold the former Horfield Police Station site in the Bishopston area of the city to local developer Sommerville at a price in excess of its guide.
The developer intends to redevelop the 2,668 sq ft, three-storey premises, built in 1903, into flats, subject to planning consent.
The disposal is part of Bristol City Council’s strategy to boost the city’s housing supply by disposing of surplus property.
“The price achieved reflects the demand for residential conversion opportunities in desirable locations,” said Rebecca Harries of Alder King, which acted for the developer.
