Some of the property industry’s finest were seen pounding the streets with thousands of other London Marathon runners last month. JLL employees Yasmin Forrester and Steve Cowling raised more than £3,000 for homeless charity Crisis. Frogmore chief executive Jo Allen completed her first marathon in 5 hours 36 minutes, raising £150,000 for the Willow Foundation, which provides special days for seriously ill young adults.
Youngsters close the sale
Pupils from Mapperley Plains Primary School and Carlton Central Infant School took part in a “design a For Sale sign” competition organised by Nottingham Estate Agency. The children were asked to think about what buying or selling a house or moving home looks like to them when creating their masterpieces. Winning artist Toby Liptrott, 10, was presented with a £50 voucher and every time Toby’s design is used at a home Nottingham Estate Agency has for sale, each school will receive a £25 donation.
School playground plans come to Fruition
Fruition Properties are helping create a better playtime for the children at St Peter’s CE Primary School in Hammersmith, W6. The London developer has donated £5,000 to the school, which is situated close to its new development at Merchant Terrace. The money will be put towards the school’s new playground fund. ‘Props’ Awards shortlist revealed
The 2017 shortlist for the annual Property Awards has been announced. Standout individuals and companies within the property industry will be recognised at a lunch to be held on 23 May at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Bolton plays on
Bolton Market Place Shopping Centre has donated £20,000 of play equipment from its indoor play area to the Children’s Opportunity Group, which supports children with disabilities and special educational needs.
