Tristan Capital and Addington Capital have sold their long leasehold interest at 6 Dowgate Hill, EC4, for £16.85m to an overseas investor.
Tristan and Addington bought the 15,853 sq ft office in 2014. The joint venture partners refurbished the building, which had been vacant at the time, and fully let it following the improvements.
The buyer wished to stay anonymous but said it is a client of the Salamanca Group.
Martin Roberts, principal of Addington Capital, said: “We have been able to buy, totally refurbish, fully re-let and now sell Randall House in just over two-and-a-half years which shows that our development management and active asset management programme paid off.
“This illustrates that there is no shortage in the demand for good quality stock in the City either from occupiers or investors, particularly from those from overseas.”
