Angle sells Walton-on-Thames farm to Bellway

Angle Property, funded by Palmer Capital Development Fund III, has sold the freehold of Rivernook Farm, Walton-on-Thames to Bellway Homes.

The 21-acre site, understood to be sold for close to £16m, has outline consent for 83 homes, 41% of which are affordable.

Angle and Palmer Capital bought the site in April 2015 for £5.5m and secured outline planning consent from Elmbridge Borough Council in 2016.

Rivernook Farm is within the green belt, although it is considered previously developed land, in part due to commercial lettings of old farm buildings and yard areas.

James Good, property director at Angle, said: “We are delighted to have completed the sale of this site to Bellway Homes, who dealt with the issues of this complicated site in a very professional manner.

“The sale concludes a very successful project for Angle Property and Palmer Capital, which took two years from acquisition to sale, and we continue to seek new opportunities.”

CBRE and Jackson-Stops & Staff advised Angle.
