Gordon Ramsay restaurants back in profit

Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant business swung back into profit in the year ended 31 August, after recording losses in recent years.

Revenue from its overseas outlets rose sharply, up 24%, after opening restaurants at locations in Bordeaux, Dubai and Hong Kong during the year.

The group is focusing on international expansion after failing to find suitable locations in the UK outside of London, chief executive Stuart Gilles said.
