St Modwen Properties has appointed Jenefer Greenwood as a non-executive director with effect from 1 June.
Greenwood is a chartered surveyor with more than 30 years’ experience in property.
She started her career with Hillier Parker, becoming executive director and head of retail following its merger with CBRE, and subsequently worked for Grosvenor until 2012 when she retired as director of sales and lettings, Great Britain & Ireland.
Greenwood has previously served on the board of the Crown Estate and has chaired the National Skills Academy for retail.
Current appointments include non-executive directorships of Assura and DCH Group, membership of the supervisory board of Internos Global Investors and trustee of the Ernest Cook Trust.
She will join the audit, nomination and remuneration committees of the board and will succeed Lesley James as chair of the remuneration committee during 2018, a position that Greenwood currently holds at both Assura and DCH Group.
