China’s Fosun has joined the bidders for The Body Shop, submitting an offer for the company before a deadline earlier this week, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
CVC was also among the interested parties. It already had a €650m bid rejected ahead of the auction.
The Body Shop has been put up for sale by its French owner, L’Oréal.
