Ho Bee buys Lombard Street scheme

Viridis has sold 67 Lombard Street, EC3, to Stream Field Investments, a subsidiary of Ho Bee Land, for £129.3m.

The 94,000 sq ft grade-A office building, sold at a yield of 4%, was redeveloped by Viridis subsidiary Green Property Holdings in 2014, behind a 1930s red brick façade.

The property is multi-let to six tenants, including insurance broker Arthur J Gallagher, which occupies 55,000 sq ft.

Viridis invests on behalf of Saudi Arabia’s Jameel family. It bought the freehold development in 2008 for £20.5m from Exemplar and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund’s £400m Omega development portfolio.

CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield advised Viridis on the sale.
