Tesco is closing its call centre in Cardiff in February, as it looks to consolidate call centre operations at one location in Dundee.
The retail sector faces unprecedented challenges, Tesco UK chief executive Matt Davies said. The decision to close the centre was taken to help ensure the business is run in a sustainable and costeffective way.
The move threatens up to 1,100 jobs. Some 250 jobs will be created in Dundee.
