Matthews joins the EMEA cross border retail team from CBRE Global Investors, where he has spent the past two years as European commercial director of retail, and was responsible for managing retailer relationships across 80 shopping centres in 18 European countries.
Prior to this, he worked for Apple, VF Corp, the owner of Timberland, Vans and The North Face, where he was part of the teams responsible for delivering their store expansion programs across the EMEA region.
He will be based in London and be responsible for advising international retailers on their expansion strategy across EMEA. Working across the region, along with CBRE’s America and Asia-Pacific teams, he will create opportunities and enhance client service within the retail sector.
