Soletrader takes new flagship store at 264 Oxford Street

Soletrader has agreed a 10-year lease at 264 Oxford Street, W1, for a new flagship store.

The property, previously occupied by Warehouse, is owned by Lancer Property Asset Management.

The footwear retailer will pay an annual rent of £920,000 for the 2,998 sq ft shop west of Oxford Circus.

Soletrader has almost 50 UK stores, alongside a presence in Germany and the US.

Sam Foyle, Oxford Street specialist at Savills, which advised Soletrader, said: “This deal is of particular significance as it marks the culmination of our extensive search for an Oxford Street site meeting Soletrader’s specific configuration and location requirements.

“The store is ideally located to benefit from the high footfall generated by proximity to Oxford Circus and the proposed Hanover Square Crossrail station.”

Lancer Property Asset Management was represented by Kenningham Retail. Warehouse was advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.
