WEEKEND PAPERS: Homes in Edinburgh are the most expensive in Scotland, at a price per square metre of £2,492, according to a study by Bank of Scotland.
That compares with an average for Scotland as a whole of £1,529, and also places it above the average for Britain of £2,260.
The Highlands also provide a number of notable pockets, BoS mortgages director Graham Blair said.
