Review calls for Scottish business properties to be revalued every three years

The Barclay review is recommending Scottish business properties are revalued every three years rather than every five, as is currently the case.

The review also recommends a £62m a year reduction in the total supplement paid by the country’s larger businesses.

More regular revaluations would help reduce shocks to the system, Kenneth Barclay, who led the review, said.
