Schroder UK Real Estate Fund has secured a deal to bring pop-up eatery Feast Canteen to the King’s Mall Shopping Centre in Hammersmith, W6.
The latest dining concept from Incipio Group, the company behind the “Pergola on the Roof” concepts at Paddington Central and the Television Centre, White City, Feast Canteen will operate a new 7,500 sq ft food court, in addition to taking an additional 4,100 sq ft back of house space.
Incipio Group, which creates bespoke consumer dining venues comprising a variety of different “street food” vendors, will introduce “Breddos Tacos”, burger operator “Patty & Bun”, pizza restaurant “Born and Raised” and “Salvation Noodles” to King’s Mall, as part of Feast Canteen.
The deal with Incipio Group is the latest in a series of lettings as part of SREF’s asset management strategy for the Hammersmith mall.
James Lass, fund manager for SREF, said:“We’ve been working really hard with the Incipio team to make sure that we are able to give our shoppers, colleagues and visitors a fantastic, fresh dining experience at King’s Mall. Pergola on the Roof has become a huge name in the London dining scene and we are absolutely thrilled that the Incipio team has chosen King’s Mall for their latest exciting concept.”
SREF acquired the 340,000 sq ft Kings Mall Shopping Centre in 2015 for £153 million as part of a portfolio of assets in Hammersmith.
Extensive work at King’s Mall has already been carried out over the last year, with the removal of a large concrete staircase and refurbishment works carried out to the building’s atrium, alongside new lift, stair and flooring work.
SREF was represented by Bruce Gillingham Pollard and CBRE; Incipio Group were not represented.
