Ping pong bar Bounce to open 20 sites by 2020

Social Entertainment Ventures, the owner of All Star Lanes bowling alleys and darts bar Flight Club is planning an aggressive expansion of its ping pong bar, Bounce.

It is looking to open 20 Bounce bars by 2020, targeting sites in London as well as Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as university cities across the country.
There are currently three Bounce sites – Shoreditch and Farringdon in London, and Chicago. It was founded in 2011 and first opened at a 12,500 sq ft site in Shoreditch. It will be targeting city centre sites of 6,000-8,000 sq ft for its expansion.

In London it will focus on finding sites in Southwark, Waterloo, King’s Cross and Ealing and has instructed Cushman & Wakefield to oversee the expansion.

Bounce co-founder Adam Breeden said: “We understand the dynamics behind the sector’s growing popularity and have demonstrated this with the success of Bounce. We now have the opportunity to take the concept into new locations across the UK in an ambitious national roll-out.”
