INREV has appointed Lonneke Löwik as its chief executive.
Löwik, who will start in December, worked previously for INREV from 2009 to 2014 as director of research and market information and then as director of professional standards.
She launched lobbying group Global Infrastructure Investor Association after her time at INREV, before moving to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark as head of operations.
Löwik will head INREV as it develops its global professional standards for the industry. The organisation is also working on an asset level index, which has been in development since 2015.
Marieke van Kamp, chairman of INREV, said: “Lonneke is a highly capable, enthusiastic and energetic leader. She knows INREV well and is dedicated to our main objective of furthering the transparency and best practice of our industry.
“Lonneke represents a new generation of leadership and it’s great to welcome her back to the fold.”
