The Crown Estate has sold 30 acres of residential land in Cheshire with consent for 166 homes.
The site, close to Delamere Forest, was sold for more than £7m to the Trafford Housing Trust. It will be built through its tie-up with L&Q Developments.
Savills Manchester advised the vendor.
Berit Rose of Savills Manchester said: “This sale marks the beginning of an exciting creation of a new, high-quality community in the North West.”
The scheme will be built out under Trafford Housing Trust’s Laurus Homes housebuilder brand.
