HomeStore & More has chosen TH Real Estate’s Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh for its first UK store.
The Irish homewares retailer has agreed to pay £27.50 per sq ft for 18,340 sq ft on a 15-year lease.
In addition, Card Factory and Starbucks have both agreed new 10-year leases on circa 2,000 sq ft units, paying £40 per sq ft, while Toys R Us has committed to a 12,000 sq ft store, which will open in the autumn.
Currys has relocated on the park to a new Dixons Carphone while other existing occupiers include Marks & Spencer, TK Maxx, Boots and Homebase.
Mark Cruddas, senior portfolio and investment manager at TH Real Estate, said: “We have recently undertaken a refurbishment programme, investing significantly in the repositioning of the park. These new lettings, especially Homestore & More’s first UK store, will help to breathe new life into the park, delivering an enhanced retail experience for our customers.”
Homestore & More was advised by CBRE; Card Factory was advised by HSA Retail; Starbucks was advised by Eric Young & Co; Mason & Partners represented Toys R Us. Savills is jointly appointed at the park with Cushman & Wakefield.
