Clarion Housing Group has bought a site in Hailsham, East Sussex, on which it plans to build more than 100 homes.
The 13.6-acre site to the south of the A271 at Amberstone has planning for 82 properties for private sale and 28 for shared ownership.
Clarion has appointed Folkestone-based Jenner as contractor.
Philip Browne, new business and partnerships director for Clarion Housing Group said: “We are looking forward to delivering desirable and much-needed new homes in Hailsham. This scheme will provide buyers, from a whole range of backgrounds, the opportunity to own a home which meets their needs.”
The private sale homes will be marketed through Latimer, Clarion’s sales brand.
