Parabola has unveiled plans for the development of Edinburgh Park in what will be the largest development in the city in a decade.
The masterplan aims to create a new mixed use neighbourhood which includes 3,500 homes and considerable commercial elements.
It has submitted the first planning application on the site to Edinburgh Council for 750,000 sq ft of commercial space, a medical facility, leisure suite and an energy centre.
Parabola has owned the undeveloped land to the south of the existing Edinburgh Park business park since 2013.
Parabola owner Peter Millican OBE said: “Our vision is unashamedly ambitious – to create a new vibrant community and architectural exemplar designed around the happiness and success of its people. We are building a new working and living community, redefining modern Edinburgh with a new gateway for the capital.”
