Tishman Speyer has secured two new lettings at Verde, SW1, bringing the development to 86% occupancy.
TP ICAP, the world’s largest interdealer broker, has signed to take 34,163 sq ft on the third floor and leading global technology integrator Dimension Data has agreed a deal to take 10,216 sq ft on part of the fourth floor.
The two leases bring the 317,083 sq ft building to 86% occupancy. The building’s first tenant, Pret A Manger, has recently relocated its support centre and development kitchen, occupying about 40,000 sq. ft across the ground and first floors. Other committed tenants include Oaktree Capital, PA Consulting, PSP Investments, and Waitrose.
Verde includes a gym, operated by H2, and a cafe and deli bar.
Dan Nicholson, managing director of Tishman Speyer UK, said: “These leases underline the attractiveness of the Verde building and the strength of the London market. Verde SW1 is a remarkable and environmentally conscious building that has helped transform Victoria into one of the best places to work and locate a business in London.”
Verde SW1 is one of four major property acquisitions or developments for Tishman Speyer in London. The portfolio includes The Point in Paddington, 33 Holborn and The Economist Plaza in St James’s.
JLL and Colliers International are leasing agents on Verde.
