Martin Edwards, partner at law firm Shakespeare Martineau, has been appointed chair of the Property Litigation Association.
The 12-month appointment, which sees Edwards succeed Alison Hardy of Squire Paton Boggs, was made at the PLA’s annual dinner in Ironmongers Hall in central London last night.
Speaking to EG about his appointment, Edwards described it as “very exciting”, and as happening at “an exciting time following the launch of the new Business and Property Court last month”.
