For the first time in a decade the top spot in the EG Glasgow office league table has been retained, writes Gary Moughton.
The top spot was convincingly retained by Ryden, disposing of more than double the amount of city centre space than any other agent in the past 12 months.
Despite a drop in the number of deals, Ryden has still let more than 300,000 sq ft, and has been involved in two of the largest deals.
JLLheld onto second place with only 10 deals fewer than Ryden, but they were predominantly smaller sub-15,000 sq ft deals. Overall, the average deal size has dropped by 15% year on year.
CBRE climbed from sixth place to third, with a consistent haul of just over 100,000 sq ft let, and Knight Frank went from fifth to fourth, nudging Cushman & Wakefield and GVA down the table.
This year also saw three new entries into the top 10: Graham & Sibbald, Savills, and Cargill Property Consultants.
