Verdion has launched 180,000 sq ft of logistics developments at its 6m sq ft iPort site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
It will develop a 120,000 sq ft and a 60,000 sq ft logistics unit, scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2018.
The iPort site has 337 acres of net development land with links to the M18, Great Yorkshire Way and the A1. Upon completion of the latest phase, the site will cover 2.7m sq ft of development, with a remaining 3.3m sq ft to be brought forward over the coming years.
John Clements, European development director at Verdion, said: “This new space is designed to suit occupiers seeking highly specified warehousing in a short time frame.
“With sustained demand for high-quality buildings and Amazon, CEVA and Fellowes already committed to iPort, the time is right to look ahead to the next phase of development.”
CBRE, Colliers International and Gent Visick are advising Verdion.
