New Jaguar Land Rover dealership planned for Kent

Jardine Motor Group has bought a site on which it will build a new £12m Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Tonbridge, Kent.

It has acquired a 3.5 acre site on the A26 where it will spend £12m building a new 43,300 sq ft car showroom and dealership.

The new showroom is due to open in December 2018 and the Sevenoaks Jaguar and Tonbridge Land Rover showrooms will both be relocated to the new facility.

Anthony Keohane, director in the automotive and roadside team at Colliers International, said: “This new Jaguar Land Rover dealership will be situated on a prominent gateway site into the town and boasts excellent visibility and access from the A26. With this investment from Jardine Motor Group, the new dealership will provide a state of the art showroom facility for Jaguar Land Rover and include features such as 18 car showroom, 24 bay workshop and a 100 used car display.”

Darren Jennings, brand director, from Jardine Motors Group, added: “The upcoming new site is part of our ongoing investment into our partnership with Jaguar Land Rover and our roadmap to create new dual-brand ‘Arch’ dealerships. With the development of a new state-of-the-art dealership, we’re supporting both our own and the brand’s innovative and technological retail ambitions by creating an environment which appeals to our customers.”
