Senior living developer Pegasus Life has got the go-ahead for a development in Sidmouth, Devon.
The permission was granted on appeal after East Devon District Council ejected the plans in December 2016 amid concerns about the scale of the project and its potential impact on the surrounding area.
The proposed development at the Knowle on Station Road in Sidmouth will provide an assisted living community for older people, including 113 extra-care units, staff accommodation and communal facilities, including a gym, treatment rooms and pool.
Tibbald Planning and Urban Design advised on planning.
