Green light for 2,200 homes in South Worcester extension

Welbeck Strategic Land has secured a resolution to grant outline planning consent for a new urban extension in South Worcester.

The development in the St Peter’s area of Worcester and Kempsey will include 2,204 new homes alongside a primary school, shops, a health centre, care home, community facilities and business space.

Due to the size of the scheme, Welbeck and its professional team have worked to secure planning consent from Wychavon District Council, Worcester City Council and Malvern Hills District Council.

Welbeck was advised by Savills Midlands planning team and Osborne Clarke.
