LSH has appointed industrial agency specialist John McDougal (pictured right) as head of its Milton Keynes office. He joined the firm in 2016 from CBRE.
Amro Real Estate Partners has recruited Marcus Adam (pictured second from right) as development director. Adam will be responsible for the development and delivery of the firm’s projects across its student accommodation and build-to-rent sectors.
Galliford Try Partnerships North has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Andrew Rennie (pictured second from left) as development director. Rennie has previously worked on urban regeneration projects for Lendlease and the land team for Barratt and Berkeley. Most recently he was employed by Capita, advising Homes England and Trafford council on land and property matters.
Nichola Traverse-Healy (pictured left) has joined the Cambridge office of Turley as an associate director in the planning service team. Traverse-Healy has experience in delivering infrastructure, energy and strategic residential planning and has a wealth of project management experience in dealing with large-scale strategic planning applications.
Landwood Property Auctions has appointed Kate Lay as a director. Lay has worked for Sutton Kersh auctions and Pugh & Co, and previously set up her own independent auction business.
JLL has appointed Lauren Hetherington as a senior surveyor to the alternatives team in London. Hetherington first joined JLL in 2015 as an assistant valuer in Sydney.
Regeneration specialist Acorn Property Group has appointed Phoebe Potter as group marketing coordinator and Cassie Perkins as marketing administrator.
Carter Jonas in Birmingham has appointed Jane Barlow and Lisa Smith as associate partners and Jamie Simpson as an associate. Edward Beale and Katryna Ley join as a senior surveyor and surveyor respectively.
Aston Rose has appointed Andy Lynch as director of building consultancy.
North East property firm Bradley Hall has appointed Jonathan Rudge as head of its land, development and new homes team. Rudge will oversee the firm’s strategic and site-specific development advice to occupiers, investors, developers and public policy makers. Josie Streets joins the team as a senior surveyor and specialises in new-build homes. Both previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield.
The Instant Group has appointed Ian Priestley as managing director of its serviced offering, covering the UK and EMEA region. In his new role, Priestley will be responsible for developing the Instant serviced division, an online platform for flexible workspace.
The Birmingham office of CBRE has promoted Helen Palgrave and Melissa Wase-Rogers to directors, Verity Cubitt and Owen Williams to associate directors, and Sarah Matthews has been made a senior surveyor.
Matthews & Goodman has made the following promotions. Jackie Cocking, building consultancy; Chris Morrow, business rates; and Simon Pratt, head of IT have been made partners. George Riley, building consultancy has been named senior associate. Michael Watt, central London agency; James Saxby, national business space; Ben Poole, valuation; and Paul Stewart, IT have been appointed to associates.
Watson Farley & Williams has appointed partner Mohammed Kamal to its new real estate practice in Dubai. Kamal joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he was a real estate partner and office head, having led the launch of its office in 2012.
Suzanne Avery has joined the board at LondonMetric Property as an independent non-executive director and an audit committee member.
Kent Reliance has appointed Matthew Butt as senior business development manager in its southern team.
Laura Stamboulieh and Guy Brett have joined GVA’s public sector advisory service as senior directors. They will be responsible for developing public sector advisory platform, advising on both strategy and delivery and working across central and local governments, health, education and emergency services.
Brown & Co has recruited Martin Cunningham as divisional partner in its residential services in Norwich. Philip Cottingham has joined as an associate partner in the commercial team in St Neots.
JLL in Scotland has promoted Scott McKenzie in its project and development services team, and Robbie Elrick in its alternatives team to senior surveyors.
Payne Associates has recruited Julie Hyde as its first new homes & land director. Hyde will focus on dealing with landowners, sourcing land for developers and market appraisals.
Turner & Townsend has appointed David Whysall as managing director of its UK infrastructure business. He joined the firm as a graduate in 2004 and has designed and implemented commercial strategies, assurance functions and managed programme delivery teams for UK capital investment programmes.
Poppy Edwards has joined M J Mapp as an associate director in the London office building team. Edwards joins from JLL and has specialised in the management of prime central London offices for fund managers, asset managers and private investors.
Cameron Barlow has joined Birketts as a legal director in the commercial property team.
