Hilton is to open its first hotel in Harrogate, following a £15m refurbishment of the Victorian building formerly occupied by The Majestic Hotel.
The company has signed a franchise agreement with the Cairn Group to open DoubleTree by Hilton, which will provide 170 rooms, a spa, pool, conference centre and events space for up to 500 guests, as well as a champagne bar.
It will be the third DoubleTree by Hilton at a Cairn Group-owned hotel.
Set in eight acres of gardens, it is expected to open by the end of next year. It will be owned and operated by the Cairn Group, which owns 33 hotels across the UK.
