Vanguard Real Estate has appointed Will Hean as development director for Scotland.
He will lead the delivery of the developer’s 280,000 sq ft office scheme in Glasgow’s city centre on Argyle Street and look for further opportunities for the company in Scotland, as well as open a Glasgow office.
Hean was previously managing director of Robertson Property and has worked for Kenmore Property Group in the Middle East.
Vanguard Real Estate director Conor Osborne said: “We have known Will since his time working in Dubai with Kenmore.
“His experience, local market knowledge and drive adds to the momentum building behind the landmark Argyle Street office scheme.”
The 0.79-acre site on Argyle Street was formerly the location of the proposed 25-storey Jumeirah Hotel.
The new office scheme has been designed by Cooper Cromar.
