ITV is on the lookout for 20,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft in central London for a leisure and restaurant scheme.
The company has appointed Lambert Smith Hampton to locate space within zone 1 for the creation of a world-class visitor attraction, which ITV expects will attract 300,000 visitors a year from the UK and abroad.
Most of the space will be given over to an unnamed attraction to be based around one of its most popular TV shows, while the restaurant will have a 100-cover capacity.
A spokesperson for ITV said: “We have a team that operates experiential events around our programmes, including the Emmerdale Studio Experience, Ninja Warrior Aqua park and This Morning Live.
“They are always looking at new ways to expand this and bring in new programme brands, and looking at property opportunities.”
Earlier this year ITV had its plans approved by Lambeth Council to redevelop its former South Bank home to create 478, 283 sq ft of offices, 39,094 sq ft of studio space and 2,325 sq ft of shops.
The plans also include 213 homes in 31-storey tower at the site.
