United Living reveals PRS push

United Living is launching a new PRS division, joining the expanding crowd in the sector’s current favourite housing model.

The firm has appointed Charlie Dunn, its managing director for United Living North, to head up the new business division, named United City Living. It already has a forward order book of £250m of contracts from its partnership with Newcastle-based High Street Group.

He is being replaced by former Wates Residential managing director Joanne Jamieson, who will head up United Living’s North and Midlands business.

Ian Burnett, chief executive at United Living, said: “This expansion to our current service offering will make the United Living model all-encompassing. With the private rented sector market set to grow rapidly in the next four to five years, we are in a strong position to contribute significantly to these developments.”
