Residential landlord Grainger has hired David Prescott as its director of strategy and corporate finance.
Prescott, a chartered accountant, will join Grainger from Dutch investment bank Kempen. His previous roles include research analyst positions at Barclays bank and Aviva Investors.
He will join Grainger’s executive committee when he begins his new job in late August. He will work closely with Grainger chief executive Helen Gordon on the business’s strategy.
He will also be tasked with overseeing the commercial finance team, reporting to chief financial officer Vanessa Simms.
Gordon said: “David brings with him a great depth of experience and knowledge of the listed real estate sector, which will be valuable in Grainger’s next stage of growth.”
